All date fields have a calendar lookup next to the field.

There is a short cut to entering dates, enter the month and day, 0101, and then press the tab key and the current year will be filled in automatically. All date fields may be increased by one day by pressing the plus key on the numeric keypad, to decrease the current date press the minus key on the numeric keypad.
