Security
1. First a Warning
The only areas of Easy Church Membership that have security is all of the windows and reports that pertain to tithes and offerings. A user is denied access to all of these areas until the correct password has been entered. Once the default password has been changed to your new password, anyone entering it will have access to all members tithing information.
There is no way any password is absolutely secure, with my program or any other. Anyone who is determined, experienced enough, and persistent enough will eventually figure it out. The password for the protected areas in Easy Church Membership was designed to keep out the nosy person who has access to the other parts o the program.
However there are a number of things that can be done to protect access to the program using your computers operating system. First require a password to log on to the computer. If the program is on your network you can limit who has access to the shared folder. Do not use a password for any area, log on or program, that is easy for someone to guess. For instance do not use one of your children's names, or a favorite pet.
Enter Password
The default password is: password. Please change the password to the one you want to use on your system. Take into consideration the warnings we have mentioned. Every person who is to have access will share this password.
Change Password
Every window, report or process that touches members tithing will first display the Enter Password entry screen. You can not get beyond this window without entering the password.
