There are a number of files that are related to parent files and need to have at least one valid entry before the parent can be saved.  (Remember the required fields?  These are fields that must have something entered before the record can be saved.  For example, the first, last and city fields in the Family file must have some thing in the field before the  record can be saved.

 

But there are other fields that may not be required but when are used must have valid data.  An example of this is the committees a member serves.  This file is the committee file.  There are many others.  These files by themselves mean little or nothing.  They, however, are necessary to complete the many different areas of information and service for a member.  These files are:

Class Names
Committee,
Designated Funds,
Events,
Membership types,
Ministry Names,
Relationship,
Spiritual Gifts.

 

It is not necessary to enter all of this information before entering members, or assigning to a member.  Easy Church Membership is designed so any necessary additions may be entered when needed when the member is entered.
