Team Builder Wizard
The Team Builder Wizard is a tool designed to allow a church to easily add and remove ministry members from a team.
There are three window panes:
1. List of the current teams,
2. List of the members on the currently selected team, and
3. List of all the ministry members who are NOT currently assigned to a team.
The name used for a team can match the Sunday School class name but is not required. If a class is blessed with enough volunteers to make up more than one team use the class name as the base and add a distinctive description. In our example the Ladies 18 - 40 A class has three teams:
1. Ladies 18 - 40 A,
2. Ladies 18 - 40 A Team 1, and
3. Ladies 18 - 40 A Team 2.
The available members window pane has three columns; name, and class. The default column and sort order is name. The class name or the leadership level can be made the current sort column by clicking the header. (See 'Changing a list box sort order')
Using the search entry field each column can be used as a locator to go to a specific data record. (See 'Column Searching')
Click to assign an available member to the currently selected team.
Click to remove the currently selected team member from the currently selected team.
When a ministry member is added to a team that members name is removed from the available list. A ministry member can only be on one team at one time. If a team member is to be moved to another team they must first be removed from the current team. Once removed the member is available to be added to another team. The design of the program will not allow a ministry member to be on more than one team at one time.
