The backup/restore function provided by RCL Software will only backup the database and program setting files. These files have the extensions of TPS and INI. The other files, including but not limited to, the EXE files and DLL files used to access the program database files.
Though launched from within Easy Church Membership it is a different EXE file. This make sure that all of the data in setting files are closed. It is very important to note that if you are running Easy Church Membership on a network you must be sure every users has closed Easy Church Membership.
In addition this backup function does not write directly to a CD. Burning to a CD-ROM or DVD is not supported. We suggest the purchase of a USB memory stick.
We also strongly suggest more than one backup be made on more than on removable drive.
You can be sure of two facts. Jesus will come back, and secondly, unless He comes soon, your hard drive will crash.
