Church Info
Enter the basic information about your church. Only the blue fields are required: church name, address, city, state and zip code. All of the other fields are optional. Though they are optional entering valid information will make using the Music Ministry application easier.
Backup Options
Check the Warn Backup box if you want to be reminded to make a backup of your data files. If the program has been installed on a network and there is a backup plan you do not need to enable the warning. If a warning is desired indicate the number of days to allow between backups. Zero number of days will warn you everyday!
Default Choir Entry Fields
The data entered in any of these entry fields will be used as the default when you add a new choir member. Enter the most used city, state and the five digit zip code to make data entry a little faster and less prone to error.
Telephone Information
To use the telephone dialing feature your workstation must have a modem connected to your phone line and your telephone. Enter your area code and country code. The country code for the United States is 1!
Performance Flags
There are two fields that need information that will make the review of your churches songs much more productive. The field's names are Most Recent and Least Recent. The value to be entered for each is an integer representing 30 days. To see how this works using the sample data enter 3 in the Most Recent entry field and 6 in the Least Recent entry field. When you view either the Song Maintenance window or the Select Song window any song that has been performed in the last 90 days, 3 times 30, will appear red. Any song performed from 91 days to 180 days, 6 times 30, will appear blue. All songs never performed and songs not performed for 181 days will be black, the default color.
