The second step needed to play an audio or video file is to add the song name and path to the correct Collection track. Open the Collection > Maintain window. The top list is the collection name. The bottom list is the songs that are part of the highlighted collection.

Select the song track and click the Edit button. A new field has been added to select and keep the full path and file name for the selected song. To locate the file click the folder icon.

The Select A File window will open. This process functions exactly like the selection for any file in Windows.

The default file selection is MS Media Player. You can select QuickTime, iTunes, or Real Player. To see all file names enter *.* in the file name text field and tab off or press the enter key.

The files listed are the files found in the default directory that match the MS Media Player file types. In this example we selected ch_romans_8_38.MPG.
Click the Save button to add/update this CD Track in the database. The full path will saved with the other data. To play the file click the Play button. This will only work if you do not move or rename the file after saving.
