Counseling
Counseling > Maintain
The purpose of the counseling section of The Pastor's Study is to have an area that can be used to follow the counseling progress over time. Each session can be documented: the date, what happened and the recommendations you made. This enables you to look at the last session subjects and recommendations then continue with the counseling the person or persons.
The Counseling portion of The Pastor's Study is the only part of the program that has security.
After clicking the Maintain option under Counseling a password window will be displayed. A valid password must be entered before access as allowed. The default password is the word password. A password can be as little as one character or as many as twenty. It is not case sensitive, all the following will be accepted for the default: password, Password or PASSWORD.
It is expected the default password will be changed. To change the current password at any time click on the Change Password option under the Counseling option on the main menu. First enter the current, old, password. Next enter the new password. Lastly confirm the new password. As long as the old password is correct and the new password equals the confirmation the change will be accepted.
The only field that is required is the name field. All others are optional but keeping the information up to date will help to keep all your counseling information organized.
The note field is 5000 characters long. This equates to about 2000 words. The individual sessions will have the detail for each documented.
The fields for phone numbers will only serve to keep all information together and available.
Eventually you will be able to e-mail to each person from The Pastor's Study.
