Media Library Manager - Check Out Detail
The member who is checking out the resource is selected first.  The data may be sorted by either the member number or the member’s name.  Click on the column heading to change to that columns sort order.

What the colors mean:

  • The text of the column with the current sort order is blue.

  • If the text is black the patron has no resources checked out.

  • If the text is green the patron has one or more resources checked out.

  • If the text is red the patron has one or more resources over due.

Click the View button to see and print a list of all of the patrons currently checked out resources.

After the patron has been selected click the Goto Books button to view a list of all resources that are available for check out.  This list will not include resources that are either: currently check out or marked as Inactive.

This window is where the resources are selected.  The member’s information is displayed at the top of the window.  This is the time to verify the information is correct and the correct member has been selected.

Either key in or scan the resources accession number to select it.

Once the record is selected then click the Tag column to add a check mark.  The focus will go back to the accession number entry field.  Enter another accession number.  Then click to check.  Repeat for each resource the patron wants to check out.

Once all of the resources have been tagged, click the Check Out button to complete the process.  Lastly click the Close button to close the window.

The checkout date defaults to today and the due date depends on the resource type.  At the same time a record is added to the circulation history file.  If the member history option has been selected each resource will be added to the member’s history.

Woodlawn Baptist Church
I made the purchase in January 2004 and have been extremely happy with it. I found the cost to be fair and it is easy to use. My assistant in the library is a 5th grader and she loves entering the data.

While searching the web one day I ran across RCL SOFTWARE and could hardly believe my eyes... I am most impressed with it and also the fact that Bob had the faith and followed the Lord's leading to develop such a wonderful program for church libraries.
