 | | Media Library Manager Testimonials | | Union Church Library of Guatemala wants to say "thank you" for the creation of Media Library Manager! It is a great program for small libraries such as ours and even the first person that came in to use it commented on how 'user friendly' it is. We have great appreciation for the simplicity of the program and it's capability. We recommend this software for other small libraries. Doris Rice, Library assistant;Mandy St. Louis, Librarian | We use your software in Clarksville Christian School's new library. It is helping our school to meet its mission of "p | It’s hard to believe that I’ve been at this new job for three months now. After nine years away from library work, in September I accepted a position as part-time librarian in a small private Christian school. For the first time in my experience as a librarian I was faced with having to research, purchase, and learn to use a library automation system. Thanks to Media Library Manager and its generous developer I was able to do all of those things in short order with a minimum expenditure of funds and time. My staff and I are grateful to you for always being available to answer questions, for tweaking the program to meet legitimate needs, for providing free upgrades, and for having the attitude of a servant, enabling countless small schools and churches to be better stewards of the resources the Lord has given. May you continue to grow and be a blessing at RCL Software! Warm regards, Beth Wilson BRCA Librarian | The Media Library software and support have not only helped us take the church library into our very visual based era, but have also made the too often dreary task of book management, so much easier. This software has already saved us many heartaches, not to mention, dollars. Thank you RCL and God Bless. Terry Hodson, Family Media Center & Library, Arvada Church of Christ, Arvada Colorado | “Media Library Manager – the answer to a prayer” “It’s easy to setup; simple to use; and great for those who have little or no computer training” I’m talking about Media Library Manager. I first came across this wonderful programme when I was searching the web for some way of managing our Lending Library. I embarked upon this search as a result of a discussion with a number of fellow sisters in Christ after church one day – the comment was “we need a library – someone should start one”. Shortly afterwards the Holy Spirit spoke to me about starting a library – commencing with the books I had in my bookcase at home. It is amazing to see God work – books; tapes and a few CDs were offered – it was time to look at some way of keeping records. I spent some nights searching the web for a suitable programme which was affordable and uncomplicated for volunteers. I downloaded a number, but found that costs were too high and the programmes too involved. Then I saw Media Library, it was an answer to prayer. I congratulate Bob Langer of RCL Software on a great programme. It is working beautifully for us. Thank You. God Bless You Abundantly, Your Sister in Christ, Suzanne Hodgson, Cairns Christian Centre, Cairns, QL, Australia | Recently I purchased Media Library Manager from RCL Software. I find it to be very user friendly and much easier than some of the more expensive programs. Thank you, Bob, for using your God given talent in creating a library program that enables Church Librarians to efficiently catalog and check out books for our patrons. Nell Lallinger | | As a professional librarian by trade, I was excited to have the ministry opportunity of taking over our small church library and turning it into a valuable resource for the entire congregation. One thing I was sure I wanted to do was to automate the library. However, coming from a school library background (and being accustomed to the very high prices libraries generally pay for software), I was not very hopeful that I would be able to find affordable software that provided all of the features I was looking for. I spent a fair amount of time searching the Internet for such software, and found, among others, Media Library Ministry software from RCL Software Company. I compared three or four of these programs, and decided that MLM was the best bet for our church library for several reasons. First, it offers nearly every feature I was looking for. It even allows me to print barcodes for the library resources! Second, I read about the way this program originated and appreciated that this software is a ministry in and of itself. Third, it is VERY affordable! In fact, it was so inexpensive that I thought, "Hey, I can take a chance on this, and if it isn't what I'm looking for, I haven't lost much." Well, I haven't lost anything! The program is easy-to-use, does just about everything I want it to, and doesn't seem to have any "bugs." Too, the support is great! Very personal! I have e-mailed support several times, and I have always received a quick response to my question. Bob Langer is very open to ideas of how to make this great program even better, and I appreciate his heart in wanting to bless church libraries with this program. Because of him and his work, I will be able to bless many more people in and beyond my church, hopefully even helping some come to know Christ by providing them easy-to-find materials that touch their hearts. Susan Anderson, Librarian, Liberty Christian Fellowship, Liberty, MO. | | I have a small church library which was in boxes and had not been used in years. It was in need of a total revitalization!!! I knew I needed a computer program that would help make the process easy and fast. After looking at several different computer programs I settled on Bob Langer's Media Library Catalog. I made the purchase in January 2004 and have been extremely happy with it. I found the cost to be fair and it is easy to use. My assistant in the library is a 5th grader and she loves and she loves entering the data. Now when someone asks if I have a certain book, author, or subject it is right at my finger tips. Media Library Catalog has been a bless to me and our church. Thank you Bob and God Bless. Molly C. Gerke, Woodlawn Baptist Church, Arlington, VA. 22922 | I (had been) using an archaic library program and have wanted to update for years but never found anything affordable. While searching the web one day I ran across RCL SOFTWARE and could hardly believe my eyes regarding price and flexibility of this program. I am most impressed with it and also the fact that Bob had the faith and followed the Lord's leading to develop such a wonderful program for church libraries. He is wonderful on support and I do bother him a lot. I have already referred another church to this program and will continue to tell others. Thanks so much, Bob. God Bless!
Shirley Parrish, Librarian Central Baptist Church, Melbourne, Fl. | | The RCL Software for Church Libraries has enabled us to finally set up a church library! It is a wonderful program that is self explanatory and will enable our church members to access and utilize the many great books that have been donated. Bob Langer is available for support and even hooks you up to others that have implemented this software. Gloria Olson, Bethel Baptist Church, Chesapeake VA | The Media Library software and support have not only helped us take the church library into our very visual based era, but have also made the too often dreary task of book management, so much easier. This software has already saved us many heartaches, not to mention, dollars. Thank you RCL and God Bless. Terry Hodson, Family Media Center & Library, Arvada Church of Christ, Arvada, Colorado |
