 | | The Pastor's Study Testimonials | I just wanted to take a minute and share some contact information with you. I might have mentioned this before but I think it’s worth mentioning again. Over a year ago I stumbled across a piece of software called “The Pastor’s Study”. I was looking for something that would handle library entries for our reading room but this ended up being so much more. It organizes my counseling sessions by contact in password protected areas, has networking capabilities so a co-worker or assistant can help maintain schedules. I could go on and on as it has just a ton of functions. I was just making entries this morning and was again impressed with the ease and simplicity of the product and wanted to pass it on for anyone looking for any type of small church group, study group or ministry assistant software. I’ve tried many but I fell in love with this one and it continues to fill every need that comes up. I have no relationship to the software developer other than being a very satisfied and enthusiastic client. Ken Ottinger, Pastor, Steps of Zion Ministries, American Academy of Religion | The Pastor's Study is one of the most versatile and complete programs that I have seen allowing a pastor to focus on in one software most of the ministry items that one needs. I am thoroughly enjoying the program. I have tried to use other sermon storage software but the others were too limited. RCL Software has done an excellent work in making this software not only easy to use but also very versatile. May God bless and be with you!
Daniel Powell - Pastor of Green Acres Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky | | I have been using the Pastor's Study now for about since November 2002. I have found it to be very compact and user friendly. From recording prayer request to my Administrative Assistant's recording copies of my library on the library section, I have been wonderfully blessed by the blessing of this ministry. I completely affirm The Pastor's Study to any busy pastor or Senior Staff member. May the Lord bless you in this quest. Sincerely, Dr. Chip Roberson, Senior Pastor, Cave Spring Baptist Church, Roanoke, VA | | I bought your "Pastor's Study" software from Scripture Truth Book Co. last week, & installed it a few days ago. I have not found better software for the needs that I have as a Pastor! It is fantastic software! And very reasonably priced! Fred Scudder, Heritage Baptist Church, Moses Lake, WA 98837 | After searching the internet several months for an all-in-one software program for ministers, I was delighted when I found The Pastor's Study! My search was based upon the need to do things like: track sermons, keep appointments, and record counseling sessions. Of the software programs I found, one would do well in tracking sermons, another in keeping appointments and yet another in recording counseling sessions. I didn't want to bounce between several programs so I kept looking. Then, I found The Pastor's Study which does all these things and more. For example, do you journal your prayer time or personal thoughts? No problem! The Pastor's Study has a journaling module to help. Have you ever wondered to whom you loaned that missing book, CD or DVD? Again, no problem. The library module in The Pastor's Study helps you track your entire library down to the preloaded Dewey Decimal! It even allows you to call up your favorite word processor, presentation software or Bible-study program from within. When I found The Pastor's Study, I wasted no time with my purchase nor will I waste time in telling my other friends in ministry. Thanks Bob! Pastor John Watson, Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Ocean Springs, MS. | I love the look and ease of the program (Pastor's Study) in the week that I have evaluated it. I am looking forward to getting started with some organization around here. Thanks for such an economical way to help me get a grip on my library and sermon files...plus so much more. Blessings, Scott Ferguson, Pastor, Westview Baptist Church, Opp, AL. | I, for one, am very happy with my Pastor's Study programme and have already shown the programme to other ministers that I know, and they are very interested in having a look at it as well, so I hope that they too will purchase a copy of it in the near future. Thanks again for all of your efforts on our behalf, may you continue to know God's richest blessings and peace, Your brother in Christ, Rob Farr [Pastor], Queensland, Australia. | Thanks for making an awesome product. The Pastor's Study is so easy to use and it does an excellent job. Blessings, Pastor Mike Hewitt | I have pastored a small rural church for eight years. In that time I have preached over 1000 messages. Messages that I spend anywhere from 10 to 30 hrs in preparation. I have always used a computer and word processor, but could not find a way to best save these messages where I might be able to retrieve them or the information in them for future sermons. Searching online I found The Pastor's Study and downloaded the sample program. It was much more than I needed at the time, but the sermon maintenance program was absolutely the best I had ever seen. I can search by title, date, topics, scripture references. It is unbelievable. Now all that work in preparation is at my disposal. Thanks for this great tool.
Pastor Jim Newton, Riverside Baptist Church, Riverside, Texas | Nearly 30 years ago I wrote a software program for ministers that tracked the following: Sermons using title, key words, key scripture texts, Congregation membership with name, address, telephone, and attendance, Library with title, author, subject, Library of Congress number, Visitors and visitation records.
As I understand it, one of the Bible College Presidents was still using this as recent as 5 years ago. Clearly, it was written in the infancy days of home computers, when screens were green with white lettering, measuring for the most about 9 inches in size; maximum RAM was 64K; and floppy disks were the storage medium. I last updated it using Microsoft Visual Basic, but it was still that early program.
Then I read Terry Wilhite's article in Pulpit Helps that gave a glowing testimonial for The Pastor's Study. You have truly done ministers a service by creating this application. To use a modern cliché, you've taken it to "the next level;" actually, quite a few levels up the usability scale. Brilliant in design. Simple to use. Inexpensive to purchase. What more could a busy pastor desire?
The Pastor's Study brings organization to the many facets of the pastor's life. The Pastor can go from sermon creation to cataloging using his or her favorite word processor and Bible Study program. Then the pastor can track their library, illustrations, visitation, prayer list, and even personal goals.
And, I found from experience, you, Bob Langer, exist just an email away to provide hands holding help.
You have accomplished what I dreamed of creating. I highly recommend the Pastor's Study. Dr. Archie Miller, Orcutt Christian Church, Santa Maria, CA. | | This software [The Pastor's Study] is proving to be very user friendly and comprehensive. In the past, we used two different data bases to maintain the info that, now, we will be able to access in one place! Thanks for making this available and we will speak well of you every chance we get. Raine Lewis, Southeast Christian Church, Parker, CO. | I wanted to say “thanks” for creating such fine software. I have been using the Pastor’s Study for four years now. It helps me keep my ministry organized better than any other program I have ever used. There are so many features provided that Pastor’s Study makes it unnecessary to possess any other program. I also want to thank you for the free upgrades and the support that you give at no extra cost. Yours is the only program that I have that continues to provide upgrades and support at no extra cost. It is great to see someone who is interested in ministry more than money! Thanks again and may God continue to bless you and your ministry. Pastor Jerry Bryant, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Jacksonville, NC 28540 (Pastor Jerry has been using The Pastor's Study since Sept. of 2004.) | | As a pastor and soon-to-be manager of an counseling/discipleship ministry, I have been in a long-term search for software that can help me organize my teachings, schedule, records and various aspects of ministry that simply get lost in the shuffle. I eventually discovered all that I was looking for (and MORE!) from The Pastor’s Study. This incredible software has taken much of the burden out of keeping my ministry organized and I am discovering more and more ways that the Pastor’s Study serves to assist me in ministry. I have found all the applications to be very intuitive and so once you understand the basics of entering information into the database, you are set to go. However, one of the strongest advantages of this program is the incredible support offered by Bob Langer, the programmer and designer for RCL software. Bob is only an email away and usually has a very prompt and helpful reply to every request. For this and many other reasons, I highly recommend The Pastor’s Study and RCL software for anyone seeking assistance in organizing their ministry. [Rev. Ian Easter, Associate Pastor, American Protestant Church of The Hague, Netherlands] |
